Easily the best of ‘The Comic strip’ this I’d essentially a proto hybrid of ‘Filthy Rich and Catflap’, ‘Bottom’ and ‘Withnail & I’ following two drunken escorts (Rik Mayall and Ade Edmondson) accidentally ending on a mission to murder Nicholas Bloody Parsons!

First off, this is shot on film. It looks GORGEOUS on the recent severin Bluray. Near faultless direction throughout. The pacing is breakneck, the humour crude and violent. The scripts FULL of PROPER gut laugh moments. Rik, Ade, Nicholas and Peter Cook are all absolutely in their elements.

If you only watch one ‘Comic Strip’ short, make it this one.
